Raul Rodriguez Pleads Guilty to Intoxication Manslaughter in the Death of Adeline Jane Hutson

On Thursday, July 25, 2013, in Eagle Pass, Maverick County, Texas, in the 293rd Judicial District Court, Judge Cynthia Muniz presiding, Defendant Raul Rodriguez, age 38, from Eagle Pass plead guilty to the offense of Intoxication Manslaughter.

Said offense occurred on the road to the Kickapoo Casino (Tierra Soberana Road) on December 11, 2010, and did caused the death of Adeline Jane Hutson from San Antonio.

Mrs. Hutson had come to Eagle Pass to go to the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino with other family members.

A pre-sentence report was ordered by the Court and sentencing was set for January 13 , 2014 at 9:30 a. m.

District Attorney Roberto Serna stated that these cases are taken very seriously by the Office of the District Attorney and that they will be fully prosecuted where the evidence and facts so warrants and to obtain justice for the victims of these drinking and driving cases which result in death.
