Eagle Pass man found dead inside pick-up truck

An Eagle Pass man, Encarnacion Alba, age 51, was found dead inside his Chevrolet S-10 pick-up truck on Saturday, September 21, 2013, by the Eagle Pass Police Department at the intersection of Garrison Street and Adams Street near the Eagle Pass International Bridge No. 1.
Local citizens called 911 to report a man unconscious inside his truck during the afternoon of September 21st. When Eagle Pass Police Department officers arrived, they confirmed Alba was unconscious and called for an ambulance from the Eagle Pass Fire Department. EMS Paramedics from the Eagle Pass Fire Department found Alba without life.
Maverick County Justice of the Peace of Precinct 4 Tere Melendrez was summoned and pronounced Alba dead at the scene and ordered an autopsy. Alba’s cause of death is unknown.
