MG Records blazing new trails in music industry

Eagle Pass, Texas is recognized as a pioneer in the music industry featuring international recording artists such as Gary Hobbs, Oscar G (Gonzalez), Brando Mireles, Jessica Sanchez, Los Hermanos Salinas, Elias Arredondo, Rumel Fuentes, and many more. Now, MG Records has opened a recording studio in Eagle Pass to record local, out-of-town, and international recording artists’ music.

MG records is the brainchild of local musician, composer, songwriter, and director Manuel Garza and local attorney, songwriter, and internationally reknowned author Alberto M. “Beto” Ramon. Garza and Ramon merged their music and legal expertise to make MG Records a reality. Both saw a need for a local recording studio to assist local and international recording artists and aspiring artists to record their music and songs without having to travel to San Antonio, Austin, Houston, or Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Garza and Ramon have been diligently working for almost two years to make their dream a reality.

MG Records has now produced its first four musical CDs including internationally reknowned recording artist Luis Villa of the Luis Villa Trio, Tejano recording artist Oscar G., Los Hermanos Salinas of Eagle Pass, and Elias Arredondo of Eagle Pass. MG Records is currently working on producing several CDs of both local and international recording artists, including Ricardo Castillon, Doug Frazier, Flash, and Maria Garza.

“We like to invite all aspiring recording artists and established recording artists from both the United States and Mexico to contact MG Records about recording their next CD with MG Records in Eagle Pass,” said Alberto M. Ramon, President of MG Records. “We are opened to recording and producing music of all genres, including Pop, Contemporary, Heavy Metal, Tejano, International, Ranchera, Banda, Country & Western, Rock, Mariachi, Norteno, Gospel, and more,” said Ramon. “We also record and produce in English and Spanish languages, depending on the artist’s preference,” added Ramon.

“Our goal is to blaze new trails in the music industry,” said Ramon. “We are here to give everyone an opportunity to record their songs and music at an affordable price and open doors for them in the music industry,” said Ramon. “You never know which artist may be the next Elvis Presley or Taylor Swift unless they are given an opportunity to professionally record their music and played on the air and all forms of social media,” added Ramon.
