19-Year-Old Female Arrested For Leaving The Scene Of An Accident

(PRESS RELEASE) – On Saturday November 9, 2013 at approximately 2:32 pm, Maverick County Deputies responded to a hit and run motor vehicle accident by Deer Run Blvd. and U.S. Hwy 277 North. Upon gathering further information, deputies were advised that a silver Mustang had fled the scene into the Deer Run Subdivision. Minutes later deputies located the silver Mustang driven by a 19-year-old female by the 800 block of Hopedale Loop. A traffic stop was conducted on said vehicle in which the driver was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Both drivers and passengers denied medical attention at the time of report.
