Retired Lawman David J. Castaneda registers for Maverick County Justice of the Peace of Precinct 3-A & B on November 9th

Highly respected and regarded retired lawman, David J. Castaneda, officially registered as a candidate with the Maverick County Democratic Party for the position of Justice of the Peace of Precinct 3 A & B, County of Maverick, Texas, on Saturday, November 9, 2013.

Current Justice of the Peace of Precinct 3 A & B, Cesar Iracheta, has indicated that he will not seek re-election and retire from his judicial post.

Castaneda is a formidable candidate with the highest levels of integrity, honesty, and public service to the community. Castaneda’s goal is to provide impartial and unbias justice to all persons or entities coming before the Justice of the Peace of Precinct 3 A & B Court in Maverick County. Castaneda stated that he will give every person or entity appearing before his Court, if elected, a fair and just trial or court hearing based on the facts and the law of each case, and not based on any political bias or favoritism.
