EPHS Musicians Make All District Band

December 4, 2013 – Several Students from Eagle Pass High School Band participated in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 11 All District Tryouts this past November at Stevens High School in San Antonio, Texas.   Seventeen Students were selected as members of the All-Region Band, with eight students making the first band and qualifying to try out for the Texas Music Educators Association Region tryouts that will take place this December 7, 2013.

Members of the EPHS band and qualifying to try out for the Region Band include:

Kimberly Flores on flute; Natalie Franco on clarinet; Lupita Krezdom on bass clarinet; Rey Herrera and Gerardo Camarillo on alto saxophone; Avner Chavez and Humberto Garza on trumpet; Alexis Flores, Reynaldo Martinez, Rodrigo Ugalde and Karen Martinez on trombone; Antonio Chong on baritone; David Reyes on tuba.

These students will participate with over 500 other students from 20 various schools in the Region Band Tryouts this Saturday, December 7, on the campus of John Stevens High School in San Antonio, Texas.
