Gilberto “Gil” Salas Announces Candidacy for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3-AB
Gilberto “Gil” Salas is pleased to announce his candidacy for Maverick County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3-AB.
Gilberto “Gil” Salas has been a resident of Precinct 3 for over 37 years of his life. With his community in mind and in his heart, Gilberto “Gil” Salas joined the United States military upon graduating from Eagle Pass High School and went on to have a successful military career, retiring as a United States Army Staff Sergeant.
As a longtime resident of Precinct 3, Gilberto “Gil” Salas recognizes and understands the importance of having a full time Justice of the Peace that will be accessible to address the concerns and legal situations of the residents of Precinct 3.
Gilberto “Gil” Salas is a certified Texas Peace Officer, previously worked as a Maverick County Sheriff Deputy, the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department SWAT Team, and served as a Court Bailiff Officer for the 293rd and 365th Judicial District Courts in Maverick County. Gilberto “Gil” Salas also worked as a Transportation Officer for the legal system and as a personal physical fitness instructor.
Gilberto “Gil” Salas extensive experience working in the judicial and legal system in various capacities has taught him the importance of justice, fairness, ethics, respect, and dignity in society. Gilberto “Gil” Salas is highly regarded and respected within the judicial, legal, and law enforcement community.
“I respectfully request the citizens of Precinct 3-AB for their support and vote during the March 4, 2014 Democratic Party Primary election with early voting commencing February 18 through February 28 to restore justice, peace, fairness, respect, and dignity to Maverick County,” said Gilberto “Gil” Salas. “Growing up in Seco Mines and Precinct 3-AB has provided me personal experience working with the community residents and the judicial needs of the people of Maverick County,” said Salas.
