Eagle Pass Police Department Busy Fighting Crime
On Friday, January 17, 2014, at approximately 3:36pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department conducted a vehicle stop on a white in color pickup truck by the 600 Block of Comal Street. After the driver was identified it was learned that he had an active warrant from the Eagle Pass Police Department. Juan Ricardo Baltazar, 39, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Theft over $50.00. He was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Saturday, January 18, 2014, at approximately 9:07pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call at the Wal-Mart Super Center. Michael Lee Montalvo, 18, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Theft under $50.00. He was processed and released on a citation.
On Saturday, January 18, 2014, at approximately 4:42pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call at the Wal-Mart Super Center. Erica Adela Hernandez, 21, of Eagle Pass, Texas, was arrested for theft over $50.00. Casandra Magdaleno, 17, of Eagle Pass, Texas, was arrested for Theft under $50.00. Both females were processed and released.
On Sunday, January 19, at approximately 2:47am, the Eagle Pass Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for disregard of a stop sign. Officers approached vehicle and could smell a strong odor of marihuana emitting from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted by officers who located a small amount of marihuana inside. Luis Felipe Ramirez Talamantes, 23, of Eagle Pass, Texas, was arrested for Possession of Marihuana. David Treviño, 21, of Eagle Pass, Texas, was arrested for Possession of Marihuana. Both males were processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
