Gallego Announces Staff District Work Period in 23rd District of Texas
San Antonio, Texas – U.S. Representative Pete P. Gallego (D-Alpine) announced today field representatives of 23rd District of Texas will visit constituents in the district this week. Field Representatives Matt Hall, Julie Morton and Cynthia Martinez will visit throughout the 29 county Congressional District stretching from San Antonio to El Paso and make contact with hundreds of people in southwest Texas.
“Our field representatives engage with constituents year-long and are accessible throughout the District,” U.S. Rep. Gallego said. “I’ve employed a 29 county-wide outreach strategy that puts our field representatives in homes, businesses and communities where they talk and meet with constituents often. Matt, Julie, and Cynthia are excellent at their jobs and are committed to deliver for those we represent. I appreciate their efforts, hard work and dedication.”
Monday
Matt Hall will visit a business career high school in San Antonio. He will meet with an educators association in the Stone Oak-area.
Julie Morton will meet with school district officials in Ward County.
Cynthia Martinez will meet with officials in Eagle Pass. She will also meet with federal officials in Eagle Pass.
Tuesday
Matt Hall will visit a school in Cotulla. He will have Mobile Office Hours from 1-3 p.m. CT at the Alexander Memorial Library in La Salle County. He will then meet with an educators association in Southside San Antonio. Matt will also host a meeting with farmers and ranchers in Pearsall.
Julie Morton will meet with officials in Monahans.
Cynthia Martinez will meet with officials in Maverick County.
Wednesday
Matt Hall will meet with VA officials in Northwest San Antonio. He will also meet with an educators association in Southside San Antonio.
Julie Morton will meet with public officials in Monahans.
Cynthia Martinez will meet with school district officials in Val Verde County.
Thursday
Matt Hall will visit a school in Uvalde. He will then conduct Mobile Office Hours from 1-4 p.m. CT at the Dimmit Public Library in Carrizo Springs.
Julie Morton will meet with officials in Winkler County.
Cynthia Martinez will be in Val Verde County in the morning for a breakfast with U.S. Rep. Gallego and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce members. At 9 a.m. CT, U.S. Rep. Gallego will attend the groundbreaking ceremony to inaugurate the construction of State Loop 79 Overpass Project. She will host Mobile Office Hours in Carrizo Springs and meet with officials in Dimmit County in the afternoon.
Friday
Matt Hall will visit a health center in Uvalde City.
Julie Morton will be in the Alpine office.
Cynthia Martinez and Matt Hall will host Mobile Office Hours in Crystal City and meet with officials in Zavala County.
