Crime marches on in Eagle Pass
Eagle Pass Police Department (Press Release)
On Thursday, February 7, 2014, at approximately 1:35am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on FM2030/1021 in reference to a traffic stop done by the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office. Magaly Medina, 30, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Outstanding Municipal Warrants from the City of Eagle Pass. She was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where she was processed and confined to jail.
On Thursday, February 7, 2014, at approximately 2:26am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call at 2130 Main Street (McDonald’s). Upon arrival officers made contact with a male suspect who had fallen asleep at the wheel in the drive thru lane. Garrett Lane Kunkel, 31, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Thursday, February 7, 2014, at approximately 3:26am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 2700 Block of El Indio Highway. Upon arrival officers made contact with a female victim who informed officers she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The male suspect had fled the scene on foot by the time the officers got there. After a brief search he was located and detained. Juan Guardiola, 27, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Family Violence/Assault. He was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
