Eagle Pass Police Department Crime Blotter
On Monday, February 10, 2014 at approximately 7:07am, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to the 1400 block of Katy Drive in reference to a Burglary of Vehicle. Officers met with a female complainant who advised officers that her vehicle had just been burglarized. She advised the officer that her husband gave chase to the male suspect and had him apprehended at a known location. The officer then traveled to known location where he was able to properly detain the male suspect. Jose Juan Lopez, 19, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested on six counts of Burglary of Vehicle. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department to be processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Sunday, February 9, 2014 at approximately 12:36am, the Eagle Pass Police Department while on patrol responded to 2210 North Veterans Blvd. (Nova Lounge). Officer noticed several individuals engaged in an altercation outside the establishment. Guadalupe Miranda Sanchez, 28, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury. She was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where she was processed and confined to jail pending magistration. Jorge Adrian, 31, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, and Interfering with the Duties of a Public Servant. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was confined to jail pending magistration. Nicolas Steven Garza, 32, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, and Interfering with the Duties of a Public Servant. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was confined to jail pending magistration.
On Sunday, February 9, 2014 at approximately 2:10am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on A.J. Drive in reference to disturbance in progress. Officers made contact with a female victim who advised her husband was intoxicated and out of control. Leopoldo Esquivel, 41, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Family Violence Intimidation. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was confined to jail.
On Sunday, February 9, 2014, at approximately 3:13am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call at 1999 South Veterans Blvd. (Shell Gasoline Station). Upon arrival officers made contact with a male suspect who was intoxicated. Remigio Olivo, 56, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was confined to jail.
On Sunday, February 9, 2014, at approximately 8:33pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to the 200 Block of Jefferson Street in reference to an intoxicated Pedestrian. Mario Antonio Gonzalez, 59, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication and Wanted Person. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was confined to jail pending magistration.
On Saturday, February 8, 2014 at approximately 3:05pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to the 1700 Block of Champion Circle in reference to disturbance in progress. Michael De Hoyos, 30, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Family Violence Intimidation. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and released on citation.
On Saturday, February 8, 2014 at approximately 11:04pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to the corner of Pierce and Rio Grande Street regarding a welfare concern. Upon arrival officers noticed a male suspect lying on the ground. After further observation it was determined the male suspect was intoxicated. Reynaldo Reyes, 49, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was confined to jail and later released on citation.
On Friday, February 7, 2014, at approximately 1:07pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle for Disregard of a Stop Sign. Officer made contact with the driver/female suspect and advised her as to the stop. Upon doing so the female suspect became argumentative and uncooperative. Rosantina Gonzalez, 29, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Outstanding Municipal Warrants, Driving with License Invalid, Resisting Arrest and Assault on a Peace Officer. She was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where she was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Friday, February 7, 2014, at approximately 4:41pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 2400 Block of Main Street (Andy’s Car Wash) in reference to a disturbance in progress. Officers made contact with a female victim who advised she had just been assaulted by her boyfriend. The male suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. Jose Martin Herrera, 27, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Family Violence/Assault. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Friday, February 7, 2014, at approximately 9:36pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call at 656 Main Street (Sunset Bar). Upon arrival officers made contact with bartender who informed two individuals were breaking beer bottles and refused to leave. Maria Consuelo Lopez, 49, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication. She was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where she was processed and confined to jail pending magistration. David Internial Almaraz, 63, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication. He was transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
