Eagle Pass Police Department (Press Release) – Updated 3/3/14.
On Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at approximately 2:33pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department conducted a traffic stop by the 200 Block of Adolphus Street for a traffic violation. The police officer made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Pedro Eliberto Juarez, 67, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Possession of Marihuana under 2 ounces.
On Monday, March 3, 2014, at approximately 2:30pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department Auto Theft Division executed an outstanding warrant on a male suspect. Oscar Eduardo De La Garza, Jr., 22, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Burglary of a Habitation. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Monday, March 3, 2014, at approximately 12:43am, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to the 1000 Block of Kiriaka Street in reference to a possible Disturbance in Progress. Officers made contact with several individuals at the front of the residence. At the time of contact there was no disturbance in progress. Officers did notice an individual who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. Christian Armando Reyes, 20, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Possession of Marihuana under 2 ounces and Resisting Arrest. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Sunday, March 2, 2014, at approximately 4:42am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 2500 Block of Main Street in reference to a fight in progress. Officers made contact with several individuals who were drinking and arguing out loud. Austin Lee Rivera, 18, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Luis Flores, 23, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor and Assault. Both suspects were transported back to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Sunday, March 2, 2014, at approximately 1:30am, the Eagle Pass Police Department while on patrol noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Diego Hinojosa, 30, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Saturday, March 1, 2014, at approximately 2:18am, the Eagle Pass Police Department while on patrol noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Felix A. Lopez, 27, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at approximately 4:18pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 500 block of Pecos Street in reference to possible use of narcotics. Officers arrived at the scene and found drug paraphernalia and used marihuana cigarettes on the floor. Officers made contact with several individuals that were there. Rodrigo Salinas Rodriguez, 20, Julio Saucedo, 17, and Eric Morales, 17, all of Eagle Pass, Texas were arrested for Possession of Marihuana under 2 oz. All three male suspects were transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
On Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at approximately 7:34am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Garrison Street and Luis Street. Officers made contact with one of the drivers who displayed signs of intoxication. Jose Acencion Alcala, 45, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and confined to jail pending magistration.
