On Wednesday, March 12, 2014, the Eagle Pass Police Department Auto Theft Division arrested Leonardo Cuellar, 26, of San Antonio, Texas for Theft. Cuellar was driving a 2006, For F-150, which was reported stolen to the San Antonio Police Department. The value of the stolen vehicle was set at $9,000.00.
On Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at approximately 2:54pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 2300 Block of Bibb Street in reference to a Burglary in progress. An eye witness near the scene advised officers that suspects left the area in a white in color vehicle. Officers made contact with the vehicle and occupants at another location. Javier Garza, 23, Adrian Rodriguez, 25, Fernando Lee Sada, 27, all of Eagle Pass, Texas were arrested for Burglary of a Building. They were transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and formally charged.
On Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at approximately 5:35am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 500 Block of King David in reference to an Assault. Upon arrival officers made contact with a male subject who appeared to be bleeding profusely from several lacerations from the head and body area. The male subject informed officers that he had just been assaulted by several known men that had just fled the scene. Ramiro Marquez, 19, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was processed and detained and later magistrated by Judge Francisco Martinez. Bond was set at $50,000.00.
On Sunday, March 9, 2014, at approximately 3:27pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call at JC Penney at Mall De Las Aguilas. Nicole Chantalle Barrientos, 22, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Theft over $50.00. She was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where she was processed and formally charged.
On Sunday, March 9, 2014, at approximately 3:50am, the Eagle Pass Police Department while on patrol spotted a vehicle at the intersection of Royal Park and Bibb Street that was stationary. Officers made contact with a male suspect who had fallen asleep at the wheel. Jaime M. Jimenez, 40 , of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged.
On Sunday March 9, 2014, at approximately 3:30am, the Eagle Pass Police Department conducted a traffic stop by the 1000 Block of North Bibb Avenue for a traffic violation. The police officer made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle, a small child. Jose Alberto Martinez, 28, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with a child under fifteen. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged. The child was turned over to her mother at the scene.
On Saturday, March 8, 2014, at approximately 9:41pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 2300 Block of Ralph Drive in reference to an Unwanted Subject. Officers made contact with a male complainant. The complainant advised the officer that his daughter had a verbal dispute with her boyfriend. The male suspect was advised to leave and he refused to comply. Israel Treviño, 19, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Family Violence/Intimidation. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged.
On Saturday, March 8, 2014, at approximately 9:48am, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to 564 S. Bibb Avenue in reference to a possible Assault. Officers made contact with a male complainant who advised that he had just been assaulted by his ex-girlfriend. Consuelo Duenez, 34, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Assault. She was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where she was processed and formally charged.
