On Friday, March 14, 2014, at approximately 10:30pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to the 300 Block of Susan Circle in reference to loud music. Upon arrival officers made contact with a male suspect who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. David Saldana, Jr., 38, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Possession of Marihuana under 2 ounces. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged.
On Saturday, March 15, 2014, at approximately 2:48am, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to the 1700 Block of Second Street in reference to a Disturbance. Officers made contact with a female complainant who was at the scene. Jeanette Aguilar, 30, and Juan Antonio Vasquez, 29, all of Eagle Pass, Texas were arrested for Family Violence Assault. They were transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and formally charged.
On Saturday, March 15, 2014, at approximately 11:48pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a fight in progress at the intersection of Garrison and Monroe Street. Officer made contact with two male suspects who were quickly apprehended. Rosendo Melendrez, 30, and and Juan Carlos Jimenez, 34, both of Eagle Pass, Texas were arrested for Assault. They were transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and formally charged.
On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 1:55am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to the 600 Block of Laredo Street in reference to a Possible Intoxicated Subject riding a horse. Upon arrival officers made contact with a male suspect who was in the middle of the roadway riding a horse. Martin Portillo, 41, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Possession of Marihuana and Resisting Arrest. He was transported tot he Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged. The horse was taken into care by the City of Eagle Pass Vector Control.
On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 4:04am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 2900 Block of Techuacan Dr. in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. Officers made contact with a male complainant who advised officers that a male suspect was causing problems at his party. Alejandro Galan, 33, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Public Intoxication. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged.
On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 6:38am, the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to a call on the 2200 Block of Del Rio Blvd. in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. Officers made contact with two male suspects who had been involved in a verbal dispute. The male suspects advised officers that they had gotten into a physical confrontation earlier. Robert Cardenas, 25, and Jose Manuel Gallegos, 21, all of Eagle Pass, Texas were arrested for Assault. They were transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and formally charged.
On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 7:42pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department was dispatched to the 2700 Block of El Indio Hwy in reference to a Disturbance in progress. Officers made contact with a female complainant who advised officers that her and her boyfriend had a verbal dispute. She advised that during the course of the argument her boyfriend pushed her and took her cellphone away. Joel Velasquez, 21, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Family Violence Assault and Interfering with Emergency Call. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged.
