Eagle Passan murdered in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico

An Eagle Pass, Texas man, Jesus Correa, age 43 years old, was murdered in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico while visiting as his lifeless body was found at a water canal or creek owned by Mineria Carbonifera de Rio Escondido (MICARE) at the open pit coal mine known as “Tajo Norte,” near the banks of the Rio Grande River directly across from Eagle Pass, Texas, on the United States-Mexico border, on Friday, March 14, 2014.
An autopsy of Jesus “Jesse” Correa’s body determined that he died from asphyxiation or strangulation, determining that he was murdered while visiting Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. Strangulation marks on his neck were noted by the autopsy report.
Jesus “Jesse” Correa was visiting relatives living at Colonia Guillen in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, when he went missing, reported family members.
