Five Candidates Register for Maverick County Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 May 10th Election

Five Maverick Countians have registered as candidates for two Board of Directors’ seats of the Maverick County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 General Election to be held on May 10, 2014.
Registering as candidates include incumbent MCWCID No. 1 Board of Director Xavier Mancha, appointed MCWCID No. 1 Board of Director Raul Trevino, John Earl Smith, Beyer Junfin, and Gabriel De La Cerda.
The two top vote getters in the May 10th MCWCID No. 1 General Election get elected to the two Board of Directors positions at play in the election.
On Tuesday, March 4th, the candidates held a random drawing for places on the ballot and garnering the top spot on the ballot was Xavier Mancha, followed by Beyer Junfin second, Gabriel De La Cerda third, Raul Trevino fourth, and John Earl Smith fifth.
All MCWCID No. 1 members are encouraged to register to vote in the May 10th General Election at the MCWCID No. 1 District Office located at the Radar Base in Maverick County.
