Maverick County Hospital District Board Schedules Special Board Meeting for March 17th regarding CEO Recruitment

The Maverick County Hospital District (MCHD) Board of Directors will hold a special Board of Directors meeting on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 5:30 P.M. at the District’s Second Floor Administration Conference Room at 3406 Bob Rogers Drive in Eagle Pass, Texas, regarding the “discussion and possible action on CEO Recruitment,” according to the Agenda posted on the Maverick County Courthouse Bulletin Board.

The MCHD Board will also go into an Executive Session “pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 551.074 to discuss personnel matters; and Section 551.071 Consultation with Attorney” concerning “CEO Recruitment.”

Following the Executive Session agenda item, the MCHD Board of Directors will then “Return to Open Session with possible action from Executive Session discussion” according to the Agenda.

MCHD CEO Elcira Bares announced her retirement effective March 31, 2014 and the MCHD Board of Directors have received over 60 applicants for the posted CEO position according to comments made by Board members at their March 6, 2014 special Board Meeting last week.
