Maverick County Hospital District Board seeks sealed bids from Realtors to assist with sale of public property

The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors approved at its March 6, 2014 special meeting to publish and request sealed bids and proposals from licensed real estate brokers for the listing and assistance with the sale of its public property on 744 South Bibb Avenue in Eagle Pass, Texas, reversing its previous decision not to use the services of a real estate broker.

According to an official public notice published in local newspapers states that “Notice is hereby given that the Maverick County Hospital District is accepting sealed bids/proposals from licensed real estate brokers for the LISTING AND ASSISTANCE WITH SALE of the MCHD Building and Property located at 744 South Bibb Avenue, Eagle Pass, Texas. Experience in marketing and sale of governmental owned property will be considered in the selection. Deadline to submit a sealed bid is 12 P.M. on March 31, 2014. Interested real estate brokers/agents should submit bids/proposals by U.S. Mail or hand-delivered to: Elcira Bares, CEO, Maverick County Hospital District, 3406 Bob Rogers Drive, Suite 140, Eagle Pass, Texas 78852. All sealed bids/proposals will be opened and read aloud at the MCHD 2nd floor conference room at 2 P.M. on April 1, 2014. Maverick County Hospital District reserves the right to choose bids/proposals based on lowest responsible bidder and/or best value demonstrated. (Pursuant to Texas Municipal Procurement Laws.)”

All licensed real estate brokers and agents are invited to submit a sealed bid or proposal to the Maverick County Hospital District according to the instructions and deadline provided in the above-referenced public notice in Eagle Pass newspapers.
