Texas Democratic & Republican Parties’ Primary Election is Tuesday, March 4th

Texas Democrats and Republicans will cast their ballots for the candidates of their choice in their respective Primary Election this Tuesday, March 4, 2014, from 7 A.M. through 7 P.M. at the regular local Precinct polling places in Maverick County as well as statewide.
In Maverick County, the total votes cast during the Early Voting Period celebrated during February 18th through February 28th was 2,874.
There are over 14 Maverick County public offices on the ballot including 293rd Judicial District Judge, 365th Judicial District Judge, County Judge, Precinct 1 County Commissioner, Precinct 2 County Commissioner, Precinct 4 County Commissioner, District Clerk, County Clerk, County Treasurer, Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3-AB Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3-C Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace, and others.
Statewide races include Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Comptroller, Land Commissioner, Agriculture Commissioner, Railroad Commission of Texas, Texas Supreme Court, Texas Court of Appeals, State Representative-District 74, U.S. House of Representative-District 23, Fourth Court of Appeals, and much more.
