United Medical Centers-El Indio Highway Clinic to sponsor how to enroll in Affordable Care Health Insurance on Saturday, March 29th

With the March 31st deadline for Maverick Countians to enroll for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act fast approaching, United Medical Centers-El Indio Highway Clinic is sponsoring a seminar to assist people to enroll for health insurance coverage under Obamacare on Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M., at 4018 El Indio Highway in Eagle Pass, announced UMC-El Indio Highway Clinic Manager Humberto Duran.

“We are going to be open on Saturday, March 29th, from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. to assist people with information and applications to enroll for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act. We like to invite everyone who do not yet have health insurance (uninsured), have not yet applied for coverage, and/or have pre-existing medical conditions to schedule an appointment for this Saturday, March 29th, by calling us at (830) 872-3460,” said Humberto Duran.

“We will have certified Navigators and assistance available to help people apply for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare,” added Duran.

“We ask people to schedule an appointment by calling us at (830) 872-3460 and to bring with them proof of their income such as their 2012 and/or 2013 U.S. Income Tax Return and of their U.S. citizenship or residence with them,” added Duran.
