On Sunday, April 6, 2014, at approximately 3:54pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department while on patrol noticed a suspicious suspect traveling at a high rate of speed on a mountain bike. Officers quickly activated patrol unit emergency lights and stopped the male suspect. The male suspect was identified and voluntarily searched. Pedro Saldana, 32, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Possession of Marihuana. He was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where he was processed and formally charged.
On Sunday, April 6, 2014, at approximately 3:30pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department received a phone call in reference to suspicious persons. Officers identified two male suspects by the 1700 Block of Main Street fitting the description. The suspects were approached and asked for consent to search. Julio Cesar Saucedo, 17, and Brandon Joseph Lira, 21, both of Eagle Pass, Texas were arrested for Possession of Marihuana under 2 ounces. They were transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and formally charged.
On Saturday, April 5, 2014, at approximately 5:08pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department while on patrol by the 1900 Block of Roosevelt (Burr Skate Park) observed four male individuals inside a parked vehicle. Officers approached vehicle and noticed a strong smell of marihuana coming from the vehicle. Isaias Galan, 17, and Herby Morales, 20, both of Eagle Pass, Texas were arrested for Possession of Marihuana under 2 ounces. They were transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where they were processed and formally charged. Two male juveniles were detained for investigation at the scene.
On Friday, April 4, 2014, at approximately 9:13pm, the Eagle Pass Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a silver Chevy Cobalt for driving on the wrong side of the street. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle and could smell alcohol emitting from the person. Martha Rosa Trujillo, 54, of Eagle Pass, Texas was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Controlled Substance. She was transported to the Eagle Pass Police Department where she was processed and formally charged.
