Precinct 3 Quemado residents trash pick-up postponed due to rain rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 1st

Maverick County Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales advises all Quemado and Normandy residents in Precinct 3 who did not get their trash picked-up this past Saturday, September 27th, due to the rains will get it picked-up this Wednesday, October 1st, from 8 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the usual places by the City of Eagle Pass Public Works Trash Collectors. This October 1st trash pick-up date is to make up for this Saturday’s , September 28th, lack of trash collection due to rains at the Maverick County Landfill which caused it to be closed. All Normandy and Quemado residents are asked to have their trash ready this Wednesday, October 1st, from 8 A.M. to 11 A.M.
Commissioner Rosales pointed out that clean up crews are now working on clearing Elm Creek along Highway 277 North and surrounding area.
