Eagle Pass Police Department Crime Report
Sunday, October 5, 2014, 2:00 am: Officers assigned to the Eagle Pass Police Department Patrol Division responded to a report of an assault at the Santo Grial Bar on North Veterans Boulevard. The ex-boyfriend of a reporting female informed officers her ex-boyfriend intentionally struck her vehicle as it was parked in the parking area of the bar. The female complainant left the bar with friends to avoid any further incident with the ex-boyfriend. Upon leaving the bar, the ex-boyfriend began to follow the complainant and friends and began to ram his truck into the rear of the vehicle in which they were traveling in. Officers later located the grey Ford F-250 at a convenience store on Southern Veterans Boulevard and arrested the driver, 25 year old Antonio Montalvo and charged him with assault with a motor vehicle. Montalvo was later magistrated and transferred to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
Sunday, October 5, 2014, 11:40 pm: Officers assigned to the Eagle Pass Police Department Patrol Division investigated a report of a suspicious person within the 800 block of Ceylon Street. Officers gave chase and caught 18 year old Justice Kyra Hernandez and arrested her charging her with evading arrest. During her processing at the Eagle Pass Police Department, a plastic baggie containing 0.13 ounces of marijuana was discovered in Hernandez’ purse. The charge of possession of marijuana was also added to Hernandez. Hernandez was laater magistrated and transferred to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a combined $5000 bond for the two charges.
Between the dates of October 3 through October 6, 2014, there were also:
- 5 cases with arrests for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
- 2 cases with arrests for driving while license invalid and
- 3 cases with arrests for driving while intoxicated one of which was a felony case as the driver already had two convictions for the same offense.
