Community invited to attend H.E.B. Thanksgiving Feast of Sharing on Sunday, November 23rd

The 18th Annual H.E.B. Thanksgiving Feast of Sharing will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 11 A.M. . to 3 P.M. at the City of Eagle Pass International Center for Trade, located at 3295 Bob Rogers Drive, in Eagle Pass, Texas, across the street from the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center.
The traditional Thanksgiving dinner is open to everyone in the community, announced Andy Perales, H.E.B. Store Director. A traditional thanksgiving dinner of turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, vegetables, bread rolls, pumpkin pie, and refreshments will be served to all attendees. Admission is totally free.
A total of more than 8,000 meals are expected to be served by hundreds of H.E.B. and community volunteers. Music, entertainment, and activities for children and adults to enjoy will be available.
The H.E.B. Feast of Sharing community dinners were founded in 1989 and are a facet of H.E.B.’s Food Bank Assistance Program and 31 dinners are held across Texas and Mexico serving more than 250,000 meals to communities.
