Happy Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th

Congratulations to all the Maverick County and surrounding area men and women who served or are serving in the United States Armed Forces on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, National Veterans Day, as well as every day, for their significant and extraordinary contributions to our great country, United States of America.

The public is invited to attend the Maverick County Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11th, at 11 A.M. at the Maverick County Lake Veterans Memorial Park, in Eagle Pass, Texas. Admission is completely free.

Come and salute and honor Maverick County’s finest men and women and their families with the music of the C. C. Winn High School Thundering Mavericks Band, songs by talented singer Jessica Cavazos, presentation of colors by the 92nd Air Force ROTC Cadets of both Eagle Pass and C.C. Winn High Schools, the best bugle player Sammy Lerma, and much more.

A heartfelt thank you and best wishes to all Maverick County and surrounding area Veterans for their contributions and sacrifices in defending our liberty and democracy.
