Lady Maverick Brittany Perez named to 2014 District 29-5A All-District Volleyball Second Team

Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Lady Mavericks standout junior outside hitter Brittany Perez was named to the 2014 District 29-5A All-District Volleyball Second Team by the District Head Volleyball Coaches, announced Lady Mavericks Head Volleyball Coach Corina Benavides.

Named to the 2014 District 29-5A Honorable Mention Volleyball Team are Lady Mavericks Roxana Lopez, Nathaly Cruz, Jenelly Villarreal, and Lorena Sanchez.

Selected to the 2014 District 29-5A All-Academic Volleyball Team are Lady Mavericks Daniela De La Torre, Isabel Castillo, Lynet Gil, Lorena Sanchez, and Chelsea Gloria.

Somerset Lady Bulldog Cierra Patlan was named the 2014 District 29-5A Most Valuable Player while Southside Lady Cardinal Mia Soto was named Newcomer of the Year, Medina Valley Lady Panther Savannah Schmidt was named the Most Outstanding Setter, and Uvalde Lady Lobo Gloria Perez was named the Co-Most Valuable Defensive Player together with Laredo Cigarroa Lady Toro Denise Loredo.

Named to the 2014 District 29-5A All-District Volleyball First Team include Medina Valley Lady Panthers Hannah Groff, Lauren Sotelo, Katelyn Holehaus, and Ashley Persyn, Somerset Lady Bulldogs Jenna Cantu, Anna Paradez, and Lauren Valero, Uvalde Lady Lobos Payton Redfeam and Sydney Mueller, Laredo Cigarroa Lady Toro Cassey Sanchez, and Southside Lady Cardinals Ashley Sanchez and Alyssa Gallardo.
