Meteor falls near Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico on Saturday evening, November 8th

A long bright blue tail of a meteor lit up the dark evening sky of northern Coahuila, Mexico on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at approximately 9 P.M. believed to have fallen near Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, opposite of Eagle Pass, Texas, on the United States-Mexico border.
Many persons in Piedras Negras, Coahuila and surrounding northern Mexico communities of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Sabinas, Coahuila, Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Torreon, Coahuila, San Antonio, Texas, and Eagle Pass, Texas have reported seeing the meteor’s blue light tail falling from the sky onto Earth and Piedras Negras, Coahuila residents reported hearing a loud blast after witnessing the meteor falling from the sky.
Mexican authorities, including the Mexican military, state, federal, and municipal forces, are searching for the exact location of impact of this impressive meteor.
The meteor has created significant traffic and witness testimonies on social media throughout Mexico and United States.
It is unknown if there is any damage or injuries to any human beings, personal property, or real property as a result of the meteor.
