Ricardo “Ricky” Ramos, Jr. Sworn-in as Attorney & Counselor-at-Law

Eagle Passan Ricardo “Ricky” Ramos, Jr. was officially sworn-in as a new Attorney and Counselor-at-Law by the Honorable Cynthia Muniz of the 293rd Judicial District Court on Thursday, November 6, 2014, in Eagle Pass, Texas, after passing the State Bar of Texas Exam of July 2014.
Judge Muniz congratulated Ramos on passing his Texas Bar Exam and welcomed him to the legal profession and wished him the best in his future legal endeavors.
Ricky Ramos, Jr. graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 2005 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2011 after a six year stint in the United States Marines Reserve, including an active tour of duty in Afghanistan of almost a year during 2010.
Upon graduating from UTSA, Ramos enrolled and graduated from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas, with Magna Cum Laude honors in May 2014.
Ramos plans to open his law office, The RTB Law Group, with two fellow young lawyers, Efrain Torres, Jr. and Jesse Bustillos, in San Antonio and Eagle Pass, Texas.
Ricky Ramos, Jr. is the son of local attorney and Maverick County Attorney Ricardo Ramos and wife, Olga Martinez de Ramos, of Eagle Pass. His paternal grandparents are the late Andres Ramos and wife, Reyes Ramos of Eagle Pass, while his maternal grandparents are the late Baldemar Martinez and wife, Olga Tamez de Martinez, of Eagle Pass.
Ramos was joined by his parents, brothers and sister, grandmothers, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends at his swearing-in ceremony before Judge Muniz.
