City Christmas Lighting Ceremony set for Friday, December 5th at San Juan Plaza

The City of Eagle Pass will hold its annal Christmas Lighting ceremony on Friday, December 5, 2014, at 6 P.M. at the San Juan Plaza to welcome the Christmas holiday season.
The public is invited to attend the festive and beautiful Christmas Lighting ceremony filled with Santa Claus’ arrival, music, caroling, food, and refreshments. Admission is free.
Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey English Cantu and the City Council encourage all Eagle Passans to attend the traditional Christmas Lighting ceremony at historic San Juan Plaza.
The City Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments have worked diligently in decorating San Juan Plaza and downtown Eagle Pass with Christmas and holiday lighting and banners to celebrate the holiday season in the community.
Local students will provide music and caroling for those in attendance.
The City of Eagle Pass will also announce the winners of its Christmas Coloring Contest winners at the ceremony and will join Mayor Cantu in doing the honors of turning on the Christmas lights at San Juan Plaza.
