Maverick County Elected-Officials to be Sworn-In on January 1, 2015

The traditional swearing-in and oath of office of Maverick County elected-officials in the November 4, 2014 general election will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2014, at 2 P.M. in two separate ceremonies at the Maverick County Courthouse and Old Maverick County Courthouse.
293rd Judicial District Judge Cynthia Muniz will be hosting a swearing-in and oath of office ceremony at her second floor Courtroom in the Maverick County Courthouse, 500 Quarry Street, at 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 1, 2015. Among the elected-officials scheduled to participate in Judge Muniz’s ceremony include Maverick County Judge David R. Saucedo, newly-elected Maverick County District Clerk Polo Vielma, newly-elected Maverick County Commissioner of Precinct 2 Rosy Cantu , newly-elected Maverick County Justice of the Peace of Precinct 3-1 David Castaneda, newly-elected Maverick County Commissioner of Precinct 1 Gerardo “Jerry” Morales, newly-elected Maverick County Commissioner of Precinct 4Roberto Ruiz, and Maverick County Clerk Sara Montemayor.
365th Judicial District Judge Amado J. Abascal, III, will also be swearing-in Maverick County Justice of the Peace of Precinct 1 Kina Mancha at 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 1, 2015.
Other elected-officials scheduled to be sworn-in on Thursday, January 1, 2015 include Maverick County Justice of the Peace of Precinct 2 Dora Madera and Justice of the Peace of Precinct 4 Tere Melendrez.
Both swearing-in and oath of office ceremonies are open to the public. Maverick County citizens, family, and friends are invited to attend the traditional swearing-in and oath of office ceremonies of Maverick County newly-elected or re-elected officials.
