Eagle Pass Police Department Crime Report
Saturday, January 17, 2015, 2:16am: Officers assigned to the Eagle Pass Police Department Patrol Division responded to a residence on Ralph Street in reference to an alleged sexual assault of a child. Investigating officers spoke with the mother of the child who alleged her minor child had been sexually assaulted by a known male subject. Information was gathered and this case is currently under investigation by the Eagle Pass Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
Sunday, January 18, 2015, 1:51am: Officers assigned to the Eagle Pass Police Department Patrol Division responded to the Santo Grial Bar on North Veterans Boulevard in reference to an unconscious subject in the parking lot. Investigating officers arrived and immediately summoned medical services for the male and a female who was allegedly injured as well. The investigating officers were able to determine based on present witnesses, that the male and female were allegedly assaulted by two male members of the bar’s security staff. The male and the female were transported to the Emergency Room for treatment of injuries sustained. The two male members of the security staff were detained and transported to the police department for investigation and later released. This case continues under investigation by the Eagle Pass Criminal Investigations Division.
Sunday, January 18, 2015, 7:52pm: Officers assigned to the Eagle Pass Police Department Patrol Division responded to a fight in progress in which knives were being utilized. Officers arrived and detained two male subjects who were found to be highly intoxicated. Both subjects were transported to the police department and were later discovered to be illegally in the in the United States and subsequently turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol for deportation proceedings. A female that was with the two male subjects identified as 51 year old Maria Guadalupe Lopez was arrested after an active municipal court warrant was discovered and served. Lopez was later released after paying the required amount requested by the municipal court.
