Sandy Marie Esquivel graduates from Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi

Eagle Passan Sandy Marie Esquivel graduated from Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in English at the Winter Commencement Ceremony held at the American Bank Center on Saturday, December 13, 2014, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Esquivel is an honors graduate of Eagle Pass High School in 2010. She participated in varsity basketball and softball, earning All-District First Team as a First Baseman during her junior and senior years. She also participated in school clubs and community service activities.

Esquivel was accompanied at her Commencement ceremony by her parents, Nilda and Steve Esquivel, brothers Cody and Dre and sister Chelsea, grandmothers, Olga Esquivel and Lupita Elguezabal, her aunt, Susana Cavazos, her cousin, Julie Cavazos, and friends.

Esquivel also was honored in the Dean’s List during her Spring 2014 semester.
