Winn High School Mavericks rolled past nemesis Laredo Martin High Scchool Tigers 14-13 in a key District 29-5A football game on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Laredo Independent School District Shirley Field in downtown Laredo, Texas, improving their overall season record to 4-4 and 3-2 in District 29-5A standings.

The key win keeps the Mavericks in the hunt for a state playoff football berth depending on their two final District 29-5A games of the season against the Laredo Nixon Mustangs on October 30th and the Somerset Bulldogs on November 5th.
