IBC Bank-Eagle Pass Promotes Carlos Garza to Vice President
EAGLE PASS, TEXAS – IBC Bank-Eagle Pass has promoted Carlos Garza to vice president of Commercial Lending. In his new role Garza will manage an expanded portfolio of commercial loans and deposits and serve as the primary interface between the area business community and the bank.
It is Garza’s fifth promotion since joining the bank as a sales associate in 2003.
“Carlos is obviously a valued member of the IBC Bank team,” said IBC Bank-Eagle Pass President and CEO Hector Cerna in making the announcement. “He has proven that value again and again. His promotion is a result of his enthusiasm and strong work ethic which will serve him well as he continues to succeed with IBC.”
Garza personifies the IBC Bank “Do More” philosophy by volunteering with the Boys Scouts of America and participating in IBC Bank’s financial literacy program. The Coahuila, Mexico native earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Sul Ross State University Rio Grande College.
