Laura Montalvo and Ramiro Valdez crowned 2015 C. C. Winn High School Homecoming Queen and King

The Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Maverick Nation celebrated its 2015 Homecoming Festivities during the week of October 12-16, 2015, capping the week long festivities with the crowning of its Royalty Court for 2015 during halftime of the District 29-5A football game between the thundering Mavericks and visiting Laredo Cigarroa High School Toros.
Crowned as the 2015 C. C. Winn High School Homecoming Queen and King were Laura Montalvo and Ramiro Valdez representing Cheer amidst strong applause from the loyal Maverick Nation members in attendance.
Honored as runner-up Homecoming Princess and Prince were America Segura and Andres Echavrria representing Media Tech with cheers from the Maverick aficionados.
Named as second runner-up as Homecoming Duchess and Duke were Gabriela Castillo and Roberto Salinas representing Life Skills with a strong salute from Maverick Nation fans.
Recognized as third runner-up as Homecoming Countess and Count were La’Kira Flores and Reyes Lopez representing Football among applause from Maverick Nation supporters.
Named as fourth runner-up as Homecoming Lady and Lord were Mariela Sanchez and Abel Gonzalez representing the thundering Maverick Band amidst cheers and a drum roll from the Maverick Band percussion section.
Joining the 2015 Homecoming Festivities were last year’s (2014) Homecoming Queen and King representing Life Skills Janette De La Garza and Jorge Gonzalez with a warm welcome and applause from the audience.
The 2015 C. C. Winn High School Homecoming Festivities were sponsored by the Maverick Student Council.
Making the 2015 C. C. Winn Homecoming Festivities more enjoyable and fun for everyone and alumni was the thumping the Mavericks gave the Laredo Cigarroa Toros 44-6 at the Homecoming football game.
