Mario Alberto Hernandez to be appointed Constable of Precinct 3-AB

Maverick County Commissioners Court is appointing Eagle Pass Independent School District Police Officer Mario Alberto Hernandez as the new Constable of Precinct 3-AB  in Maverick County to replace Pedro “Pete” Venegas, Jr. , whom resigned upon his appointment as County Commissioner of Precinct 3 of Maverick County, at their regular meeting on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 5 P.M. at Commissioners Courtroom, 500 Quarry Street, in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Hernandez is a long- time political ally of both County Judge David R. Saucedo and newly appointed County Commissioner of Precinct 3 Pete Venegas, Jr.   Hernandez’s appointment is not a surprise to Maverick Countians.

Hernandez will serve as Constable of Precinct 3-AB  until December 31, 2016 and will have to seek election for a full four year term in the March 2016 Primary election and the November 2016 General Election.
