2016 Maverick County Democratic Party Primary Ballot Raffle Held

Maverick County Democratic Party Chairman Victor E. Perry held the 2016 Maverick County Democratic Party Primary Ballot Raffle on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Historic Maverick County Courthouse located at 501 East Main Street in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Perry welcomed all Democratic Party Primary candidates in attendance and thanked them for their participation in the electoral process for 2016.
Perry coordinated a smooth and efficient ballot raffle drawing by the candidates for the various contested Maverick County Party races.
For Maverick County Sheriff, drawing Place 1 on the ballot was Juan “Johnny” Munoz while Tomas S. Herrera drew Place 2 and Tom Schmerber drew Place 3 on the ballot. The Democratic Party Sheriff nomination winner will face Republican Party candidate Anthony Ramirez in the November 2016 General Election.
For Maverick County Commissioner Precinct No. 1 race, Leo Buentello drew the Place 1 ballot while Gerardo “Jerry” Morales drew Place 2. There is no Republican Party candidates for County Commissioner Precinct 1.
For Maverick County Commissioner Precinct No. 3 position, Ded . Eduardo “Lalo” Treviño drew Place 1 on the ballot while Pete Venegas, Jr. drew Place 2. There are no Republican Party candidates for County Commissioner Precinct 3.
For Constable Precinct 1 election,. Humberto Torralba, Jr. drew Place No. 1, Jesus “Jesse” Becerra drew Place 2, Jose F. Mendez drew Place 3, and Rudy Valdez drew Place 4. There are no Republican Party candidates for Constable Precinct 1.
For Constable Precinct 2 race, Salvador “Chava” Rios, Jr. drew Place 1while Frances Wilson Rueda drew Place 2. There are no Republican Party candidates for Constable Precinct 2.
For Constable Precinct 3-AB race, Mario A. Hernandez drew Place 1 on the ballot, Gilberto Salas drew Place 2, Michael Torralba drew Place 3, Aldo Escamilla drew Place 4, and Juan A. Martinez drew Place 5. There are no Republican Party candidates for Constable Precinct 3-AB.
For Constable Precinct. 3-C race, Samuel Chacon drew Place No. 1 on the ballot while Marshall Polhemus drew Place 2, and Abraham Martinez drew Place 3. There are no Republican Party candidates for Constable Precinct 3-C.
For Constable Precinct No. 4 election, Hector Rodriguez drew the Place No. 1 on the ballot while Jose Regalado drew Place No. 2.
For Democratic Party County Chairperson position, Asalia Casares drew Place No. 1 on the ballot while Luis Alfonso Ruiz drew Place 2. Current Democratic Party Chairperson Victor E. Perry is not seeking re-election.
Running unopposed are 293rd Judicial District Attorney Roberto Serna, Maverick County Attorney Ricardo Ramos, and Maverick County Tax Assessor-Collector Isamari Sanchez-Villarreal.
