Eagle Pass Police Department New Year’s Holiday Tips

(EPPD Press Release) On behalf of Chief of Police Alberto Guajardo, Police Officers, Communications and Records Specialists and the Administrative Staff of the Eagle Pass Police Department, we would like to wish all the citizens of Eagle Pass and Maverick County a safe and happy new year.

The Police Department recommends to refrain from drinking and driving this holiday season and to pay extra attention to the road and road conditions during this time of celebration.

Police Department Patrol Officers will be vigilant this New Year’s eve for impaired drivers. A reminder that the possession and use of fireworks is prohibited by city ordinance within the incorporated limits of the City of Eagle Pass and the ordinance will be enforced.

Safety and security is the Eagle Pass Police Department’s main priority for our citizens.
