Eagle Passan Romelia H. Flores named Top 10 Latina Executive 2015 by Latina Style Magazine

Eagle Passan Romelia H. Flores has been named as one of the Top 10 Latina Executives 2015 by the nationally recognized Latina Style Magazine.
Flores is an International Business Machines (IBM) Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor. She was named as a Top 10 Latina Executive for 2015 by Latina Style Magazine on November 30, 2015.
Flores is an IBM Distinguished Engineer (one of IBM’s top 500 engineers) working in IBM’s Global Solution Center (GSC). As a member of the IBM Global Solution Center and a certified Information Technology Architect, she works with clients in designing Smarter Planet solutions. She has led projects for clients in Public (Smarter Cities), Distribution (Travel and Transportation, Rail), and Communications (Energy and Utilities) Sectors. Some of her projects include 311/911 Image and Video Integration with City Systems, Beijing Global Rail Innovation Center and Energy Emissions Dashboard.
Flores is also an IBM Master Inventor and has contributed significant intellectual capital, including eight U.S. Patents.

Romelia H. Flores was raised by her mother and hero, Minerva Hernandez, who worked for 50 years as a legal secretary in Eagle Pass, Texas. Flores graduated from Eagle Pass High School in the early 1980’s. Flores is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Baylor University.
