Alexis De La Garza crowned 2016 Miss Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show Queen

The 2016 Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Western Beauty Pageant was a great success with over 50 participants and a live audience of over 1,000 screaming fans as Alexis De La Garza was crowned Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Queen, Sairah Gonzalez as Princess, Leslie Lorena Riojas as Dutchess, Karina Alicia Garcia as Miss Amity, and Roxana Ramirez as Miss Photogenic in the age category of 15-19 year old, announced Olga Ramos, Pageant Director.
In the 11-14 year old age category, Kaylee Ann Hobbs was crowned as Miss Teen Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Queen, Kiana Nicole Esquivel as Princess, and Natalie Antonia Flores as Dutchess, added Ramos.
In the 7-10 year old age category, Christina Machelle Williams was crowned as Junior Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Queen, Janel Ramos as Princess, and Klarissa Flores as Dutchess, said Ramos.
In the 3-6 year old age category, Ariana Samaniego was crowned as Little Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Queen, Kyanna Belle Mata as Princess, and Sophia Elyssa Esquivel as Dutchess, added Ramos.
Also in the 3-6 year old age category for boys, Eli James Barfield was crowned as Little Mr. Maverick County Junior Livestock Show, Everett Pierce Minton as Prince, and Raymond Rosales as Duke, said Ramos.
In the 2 year old and under category, Emma Jules Barfield was crowned as Tiny Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Queen, Milanya A. Villarreal as Princess, and Laramie Marie Alvarez as Dutchess, added Ramos.
Also in the 2 year old and under category for boys, Derek Chacon was crowned as Tiny Mr. Maverick County Junior Livestock Show King, Eli Alexander Resma as Prince, and Benjamin Chapoy as Duke, said Ramos.
A panel of distinguished out of town professional and local judges was assembled for the Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Western Beauty Pageant, including Miss Rodeo Texas Teen Sissy Winn, Miss Laredo Teen Elma Mendoza, Joel Gonzalez of Miss Laredo Pageant Productions, Mario Gutierrez of Miss Laredo Pageant Productions, Kimberly Cantu of Eagle Pass, J. Irma Morales of Eagle Pass, Monica Cruz of Eagle Pass, Elizabeth Elizalde of Del Rio, Judy Galindo of Del Rio, and Raquel Lynn Hamm Espinoza of Eagle Pass.
Miss Rodeo Texas Teen Sissy Winn congratulated all the participants of the Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Western Beauty Pageant and wished them all the best of luck. Winn stated that all participants are winners for the many important values they learn from their participation such as confidence, self-esteem, and leadership.
