Book Signing for Warriors of the Rio Grande to be held Saturday, January 16th

Eagle Passans William J. Munter and Judy Munter are pleased to announce the official release and book signing party of their newly published book entitled “Warriors of the Rio Grande: The History of Maverick County in WW II” on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the historic Fort Duncan Museum, 310 Bliss Drive, in Eagle Pass, Texas from 1 P.M. through 5 P.M.
“We like to invite all Maverick Countians, Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, and surrounding area history aficionados to join us for the book signing party of ‘Warriors of the Rio Grande: The History of Maverick County in WW II’ on Saturday, January 16th, to purchase a copy of the first edition of this important historical book honoring the brave and courageous men and women of Maverick County during the World War II conflict,” said William J. Munter.
“Judy and I have been working on this project for many years and are excited that the book was published and released for sale to the public. We look forward to seeing all of our friends, family, history aficionados, and the public at the January 16th book signing ceremony,” added Munter.
Fort Duncan Museum curator Jeff Taylor encourages everyone from the community to attend the book signing ceremony. Refreshments will be provided to guests. Guests will be able to purchase a copy of the “Warriors of the Rio Grande: The History of Maverick County in WW II’ and have it autographed by the authors, William J. and Judy Munter.
“Warriors of the Rio Grande: The History of Maverick County in WW II” is an important contribution to the men and women from Maverick County who served valiantly and courageously our country during the World War II theater, some whom paid the ultimate sacrifice for us to enjoy the freedom and democracy we enjoy today,” said Albert Daniel, retired Eagle Pass Vietnam and Iraq War I U.S. Army Veteran.
