Glass Elementary Falcons capture Eagle Pass Independent School District UIL Academic Sweepstakes Championship

The Nellie Mae Glass Elementary Falcons won the 39th Annual Eagle Pass Independent School District UIL Academic Sweepstakes Championship with an impressive 225.5 points on Saturday, January 16, 2016, announced EPISD Superintendent Gilberto Gonzalez.
Winning second place were the Perfecto Mancha Elementary Mustangs with a strong 199.5 points, the Liberty Elementary Eagles won third place with 194 points, the Armando Cerna Elementary Stallions won fourth place with 164 points, the Ray Darr Elementary Mavericks won fifth place with 156.5 points, the Graves Elementary Tigers won sixth place with 154 points, the San Luis Elementary Cardinals won seventh place with 103.5 points, the Robert E. Lee Elementary Rebels won eighth place with 98 points, the Sam Houston Elementary Cougars won ninth place with 90 points, and the Seco Mines Elementary Miners won tenth place with 88 points.
Winning eleventh place were the Benavides Heights Elementary Bulldogs with 77 points, the Rosita Valley Elementary Roadrunners won twelfth place with 65 points, the Pete Gallego Elementary Lobos won thirteenth place with 46 points, the Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary Bobcats won fourteenth place with 28 points, and the Kirchner Elementary Cowboys won fifteenth place with 16 points.
