Miss Rodeo Texas Teen Sissy Winn to Attend Local Beauty Pageant on January 24th
Sissy Winn, Miss Rodeo Texas Teen 2015 will be in Eagle Pass, Texas on Sunday, January 24, 2016, attending the Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Beauty Pageant. The 2016 MCJLS Beauty Pageant is being held at the Zan Matthies Show Barn at 1 P.M. at the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass. Winn won the title of Miss Rodeo Texas Teen in a highly exciting pageant competition on July 2, 2015. Winn travels around Texas to youth rodeos, agriculture events promoting the sport of rodeo and our western way of life. Winn is no stranger to the rodeo world and has won multiple state and national titles in junior high as well as high school rodeos. She is also an excellent marksman and enjoys shooting sports and hunting. She has traveled to the National High School Rodeo in Light Rifle and is 7th in the Nation currently for 2015.
Winn loves mentoring younger kids in rodeo and rodeo queen pageants and helping them reach for the stars and accomplish their goals. She is a frequent guest speaker on leadership and educational topics in Texas.
Sissy Winn is 18 years old and lives in Chapman Ranch, Texas. She is a senior at Winn Academy Homeschool and attends Del Mar College in Corpus Christi where she is on the President’s Leadership List, Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She plans on attending
Texas A&M University in College Station in the fall.
Winn is looking forward to being back in Eagle Pass and seeing the kids at the Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show and Beauty Pageant.
Sissy Winn is the daughter of former Eagle Passans Tom and Melissa Winn. She is the granddaughter of the late C. C. Winn and Patsy Winn of Chapman Ranch, Texas and Walter Herring and Layde Herring of Eagle Pass.
