Photography Contest to be held at 2016 MCJLS, Public Invited to Submit Photos

The Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Association will be holding a Photography Contest during the 2016 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show on Thursday, January 28, 2016 for all Maverick Countians who enjoy photography, announced Olga Ramos, Board member of the Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Association.

All photographs must be 5 x 7 size and must have been taken by the contestant. All photographs must be submitted to Olga Ramos or Cindy Sanchez by no later than Thursday, January 28th, by no later than 9 A.M. together with an official entry form at the Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Association Office located at 2350 East Main Street, Zan Mathies Showbarn at the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass, Texas.

There are five competition categories, including Animal, Nature/Landscape/Plant, Food, People, and Night. Photography contestants will compete in three age group categories, including Adults between ages of 19 or older, Senior for students in Junior High to High School level, and Junior for students between Third Grade through Sixth Grade.

All photographs must have been taken between January 1, 2015 and January 28, 2016 and must be in a 5 x 7 size. All photographs must be accompanied by an official entry form.
