21 Year Old Male dies in Auto Accident in Eagle Pass, TX

The Eagle Pass Police Department announced that a 21 year old male, Rey Rivera, died in a head-on auto accident at the intersection of North Veterans Boulevard and Second Street on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at approximately 1:32 A.M.

The Eagle Pass Fire Department Emergency Service Ambulance was dispatched to the scene of the accident.  Rivera sustained fatal injuries as a result of the serious head-on auto accident and later died at the scene from his injuries.

According to preliminary investigation, Rivera was driving on the wrong-lane when his 1993 Ford F-150 Pick-Up Truck collided head-on with a commercial freight delivery truck driven by a 37 year old Harlingen, Texas man.  

The Eagle Pass Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating the fatal head-on auto accident.
