Denver Broncos upset Carolina Panthers 24-10 in NFL’s Super Bowl 50

The Denver Broncos leading NFL defense led by Linebacker Vonn Miller and Defensive End DeMarcus Ware suffocated the powerful Carolina Panthers offense led by NFL MVP Cam Newton to lead the Broncos upset the Panthers 24-10 in NFL’s Super Bowl 50 celebrated at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Denver Broncos LB Vonn Miller stellar defensive performance and leadership earned him the Super Bowl 50 Most Valuable Player Award.
The Broncos took a 13-7 half-time lead as a result of LB Vonn Miller’s sack and strip of the ball of Panthers QB Cam Newton inside the five yard line in the first period which teammate Defensive End Malik Jackson recovered in the end zone for a Broncos touchdown.
The Broncos defense stifled the potent Panthers offense throughout the entire game to preserve the hard fought and earned Super Bowl 50 Championship by the final score of 24-10.
Late in the fourth quarter, Broncos LB Vonn Miller forced Panthers QB Cam Newton to cough up another fumble on a strip recovered by Broncos T.J. Ward and RB C.J. Anderson punched the football into the end zone on a one yard dive and a two point conversion pass completed by QB Peyton Manning to WR Bennie Fowler sealed the victory for the Broncos 24-10.
The Denver Broncos win their third Super Bowl Championship in their franhise history while the Carolina Panthers fall for a second time in the Super Bowl.
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning wins his second Super Bowl Championship and earns his 200th NFL victory, surpassing Brett Favre’s previous 199 wins record. Many experts believe Peyton Manning may retire after this Super Bowl Championship, but Manning stated he was going to celebrate the Super Bowl Championship with his teammates and family before deciding his future plans.
