Eagle Pass Independent School District Student Activity Center Baseball Stadium to be named after legendary Coach Leopoldo “Polo” Moncada

The Eagle Pass Independent School Distict Board of Trustees have approved to name the baseball stadium at the district’s Student Activity Center in honor of legendary Eagle Pass High School Eagles Head Baseball Coach Leopoldo “Polo” Moncada at a ceremony on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 11 A.M. at the Student Activity Center, located on U.S. Highway 277 South in Eagle Pass, Texas.

The Dedication and Naming Ceremony is open to the public.

Coach Leopoldo “Polo” Moncada led the Eagle Pass High School Eagles baseball program to many district, bi-district, area, regional, and state championship appearances during his career.  He was assisted by his beloved brother, Rolando “Roli” Moncada.
