Sul Ross Ranks High in Economic Value According to The Economist Survey

Sul Ross has recently been recognized by two prestigious national publications as leaders in the nation for our affordability and the economic value of our degrees. The Economist recently studied and ranked 1,275 colleges and universities across the country in the actual difference between expected earnings and median income of graduates. SUL ROSS RANKED 50th IN THE NATION IN THIS RANKING! This assessment confirms the economic value of a Sul Ross degree. This is good news indeed for our graduates and their families.
Sul Ross was also recently RANKED 40th IN THE NATION among Most Affordable Small Colleges for a Master’s in Education by Top Education Degrees. Data from the National Center for Education Statistics database was used to determine the ranking. Top Education Degrees used the data to publish their list of the Top 50 most affordable institutions. As you all know, education training was the reason that Sul Ross was established nearly 100 years ago. The first graduate degrees offered at Sul Ross were in the field of education. Sul Ross continues to offer high quality graduate degrees to teachers and administrators in the schools throughout the State of Texas and beyond. This study affirms that our excellent graduate program in education is also one of the most affordable in the United States.
