City of Eagle Pass, Texas International Bridge System General Manager Mario Diaz resigns

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas International Bridge System General Manager Mario Diaz tendered his letter of resignation to Eagle Pass Interim City Manager Roberto Gonzalez on Monday, May 2, 2016.

Diaz cited personal reasons for his decision to resign and step down from the Eagle Pass International Bridge System, where he had been General Manager for over 10 years.

Diaz stated that he would like to dedicate and spend more time with his family and family-owned businessess.

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas is expected to name either an Interim General Manager or a permanent General Manager in the immediate future.

Diaz’s resignation is effective May 27, 2016.
