Eagle Pass Eagles Baseball fall to La Joya Palm View Lobos in Bi-District Championship

The high flying Eagle Pass High School Eagles Baseball Team fell to the La Joya Palm View High School Lobos in games two and three after winning game one of the UIL Region IV, Class 6A, Baseball Bi-District Championship during May 6-7, 2016 at the Laredo United Independent School District Student Activity Complex in Laredo, Texas, ending their 2016 playoff dreams and season.

The Eagle Pass Eagles snatched Game One 5-3 in 11 innings on Friday, May 6, 2016 to take a 1-0 series lead in the best of three affair.

The La Joya Palm View Lobos rallied in Game Two to shut out the Eagle Pass Eagles 10-0 on Saturday, May 7, 2016, tying the series 1-1 and forcing a decisive Game Three.

In Game Three, the Eagle Pass Eagles battled hard but the La Joya Palm View Lobos potent bats remained hot and feasted on the Eagles pitching corps to earn the win 9-6 and the Bi-District Championship, ending the Eagles season.
